How Inzain handles the details you send through the enquiry form.
Who is responsible
Inzain OÜ is the controller of your personal data. On this page it is called Inzain.
For any question about your data, write to hello@inzain.org.
What Inzain collects
When you send an enquiry, Inzain receives:
- your name
- your email address
- the content of your enquiry
You do not have to send an enquiry. Without these three details, Inzain cannot reply to you.
When you load any page, the hosting provider also processes technical data needed to deliver it, such as your IP address and browser type.
Why
Inzain uses your enquiry to reply to you and to prepare a quote. It is not used for anything else.
Spam check
The form contains a hidden field that people do not see. Automated senders tend to fill in every field. If the hidden field is filled in, your browser does not send the enquiry.
There is no captcha. FormSubmit also screens what it receives with its own spam filter.
Legal basis
Your enquiry is handled as a step taken at your request before entering into a contract. This is Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The technical data processed when a page loads, and the spam check on the form, rely on Inzain's legitimate interest in running a working and secure website. This is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
How long it is kept
Your enquiry is kept for 12 months after the last contact with you. Then it is deleted.
Server logs on the hosting provider are kept for 1 hour.
FormSubmit's help page says it holds submissions for 30 days while a form is waiting to be activated. It does not publish how long it keeps enquiries after forwarding them.
Who processes it
Inzain uses three service providers. Each one handles your data only to do its part.
- Vercel
- Hosts this website. Its servers process your IP address and request data, and keep server logs for 1 hour.
- FormSubmit
- Receives your enquiry when you press Send and forwards it to Inzain by email. FormSubmit's privacy policy says it uses this data only to provide that service, and does not pass it to third parties unless the service needs it or the law requires it.
- Zoho Mail
- Receives your enquiry and stores it in Inzain's inbox, from which Inzain replies.
Transfers outside the EU
- Vercel Inc. is based in the United States. It is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
- FormSubmit does not publish where it is based, where it processes data, or which safeguard it uses for transfers. Inzain therefore cannot confirm that your enquiry stays in the EU while FormSubmit handles it.
- Zoho Mail stores Inzain's inbox in Zoho's United States data centre. Zoho relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for this transfer.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics.
Your rights
You can ask Inzain to:
- show you the personal data it holds about you
- correct data that is wrong
- delete your data
- restrict how your data is used
- stop using your data, where you object to its use
Write to hello@inzain.org. Inzain answers requests about your data within one month.
